In light of the closure of ENMU and general safety guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Blackwater Draw Museum is CLOSED to the public, indefinitely. Spring Break Hours!
The museum will have reduced hours during ENMU's Spring Break (March 9-13). We will be closed on Tuesday and will be open 12-5 Wednesday-Friday. Weekends will be regular hours. #museum #familyfriendly #opentothepublic #hours


Thanksgiving Hours for BWDM
The Blackwater Draw Museum will close at the end of the day on Sunday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, December 3rd at 9 am. Have a beautiful holiday, all! #museum #holidayhours

NM Archaeology Fair AND Blackwater Draw Annual Atlatl Competition!

SAA Annual Meeting
ALERT: THE MUSEUM WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN APRIL 8 AND APRIL 15 DUE TO STAFF ATTENDANCE AT THE SOCIETY FOR AMERICAN ARCHAEOLOGY ANNUAL MEETING. Important Regarding Hours of Operation!!!
IMPORTANT NOTE: The museum will be closed for most of the week of October 21-27. We simply don't have the staff for that week due to conferences and events around campus. Please call before making your plans! We plan to be open Sunday, Tuesday after 1, Thursday after 1, and Saturday. We are trying to get coverage for the other times. Again, please call before making any plans regarding the museum, and remember that the site is always closed during the week this time of year.
