Our collections consist of materials throughout the Southwest with a focus in prehistoric Pleistocene artifacts.
A large portion come directly form the Blackwater Draw Archaeological site while others have been donated.
Students, researchers, and staff all work with and utilize the collections. ENMU students use artifacts for thesis or research projects and in classes.
Preservation efforts are continuously ongoing by museum workers to protect these amazing artifacts for future generations.
